Black Friday Sales – 2019

Let’s be honest, Black Friday isn’t just about buying gifts for others but also for yourself. Amiright?!

The stores really know how to do it for Black Friday–50% and 60% off the entire website at many retailers, free shipping, and basically something for everyone. It is hard to know where to start, so I’ve scoured the deals and found the best ones for you (imo).

Old Navy

Old Navy has really upped their style game. (Or maybe I’m just finding the right items to buy from them.), but I am loving a lot of things I’ve recent bought there. For Black Friday, they have 50% off everything on their website. Here are some of my recent purchases I’ve been loving.

Black distressed jeans
Cream turtleneck sweater
Beige coat
Plaid flannel shirt (in picture)
Winter white pom-pom sweater
V-neck tunic-length sweater

You can see some of these other items in this post.

H&M

H&M has some of the best sweater for $20 and $30. I actually got three sweaters there last year, including the one pictured below which they have in some different colors as well as a sweater very similar to this one. I still love them and wear them all the time. This oversized turtleneck sweater for less than $20 looks so cozy and warm.

Nordstrom

I love that Nordstrom has free shipping and free return shipping on all of their products. It makes it so much easier to order online and not worry about wasting money on something that you won’t like.

Not too surprisingly, the Nordstrom here in Anchorage closed down earlier this fall, but honestly I never found much in the store. However, I do find things on their website all the time. My sweater in the picture below is on sale for 40% off in other colors including a cabernet color that’s a little darker than the one I’m wearing. This Free People tunic sweater is one of the top 10 items sold through the Like to Know It app, and it is definitely on my Christmas wish list. And people go crazy for these faux leather leggins.

My jeans pictured below are also 40% off making them just under $60. I wear them weekly and have had them for a couple of years now. I have been on the hunt for a good boyfriend/girlfriend pair of jeans, and these Levi distressed jeans look like they fit the bill. Plus the are just over $40. Lastly, I have these Sorel boots and wear them often.

New Balance

If you read my blog post from earlier this week, you know my obsession with this sweatshirt, and now you can get it for 25% off if you sign up for New Balance’s reward program (It’s free.). I also recently got this vest that is going to be perfect for these warmer winter days we’ve been having, and these tights for our colder winter days.

J.Crew & J.Crew Factory

I bought this wool skirt and turtleneck wool sweater a couple of years ago and still wear this combination all the time. Right now the skirt is $30 and the sweater is $26–both are 60% off at J.Crew Factory. They also have free shipping with the code YAYDEALS.

J.Crew is having 50% off everything. I remember when they were at the top of my budget, and I rarely bought anything there because it was too expensive. But now with things being 50% off, I want to buy this sweater dress and these pajamas.

I also purchased this scarf several years ago and wear it all the time. It’s currently 60% off as well.

Oiselle

I recently made a purchase at Oiselle for this Lux mock neck long sleeve shirt and this wool running shirt, and I love both of them so much! At 5’7″ I sometimes have a hard time finding shirts where the sleeves and body are long enough for me, but both of these shirts are very generous in their arm and body length. You also can’t go wrong with Oiselle’s classic Flyte long sleeve shirt.

Oiselle’s Black Friday deal depends upon how much you spend: 20% off for orders over $100, 25% off orders over $200, and 30% off orders over $300.

I am wearing the Vim Jacket in this photo.

Madewell

Everything at Madewell is 30% off with the code STARTEARLY. I love their v-neck t-shirts. I’ve tried v-neck shirts from other stores, but I think the fit of these is much better. I have also been eyeing these black jeans for far too long; I think it is finally time to bite the bullet and buy them.

Sarah Marie Design Studio

If you have any runners to buy for (or want to treat your running self), get yourself a fun sweatshirt from Sarah Marie Design Studio. They are offering 20% off everything on their website. This sweatshirt would be my personal top pick (or the 26.2 one), but they have other things such as nail wraps for many of the big marathons, fun mugs, and sports bras and cropped tops that you can add your name to.

Beautycounter

There is no better time to clean up your skincare and makeup products than right now with Beautycounter’s Black Friday sale of 15% off plus free shipping on orders over $50. I am so happy I go rid of all of the toxic cleansers, moisturizers, makeup products, and hair products for safer alternatives. Plus, I cannot stop raving about the Countertime line, which I wrote a full review of HERE.

My top picks:
Overnight Resurfacing Peel
– Glow & Go Mini Facial Oils
Brilliant Brow Gel
– Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation
– Daily Shampoo and Conditioner

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoying your Black Friday whether it is shopping from the couch, getting out-and-about, working, or enjoying the outdoors.

I did a little online shopping and am headed outside for a walk with the boys in a little bit because it isn’t that cold. On Wednesday we had really strong winds, and then it proceeded to rain all night, which melted all of our snow, but now it is 35*F.

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.
