My Top 10 Sephora Picks for the Sale

Sephora is having a sale, and I’ve rounded up my favorite products from them. I’ve always loved skin care and makeup products, but I’m super picky with what I buy. I don’t own a ton of products, but the products I have are ones I love!

The Sephora sale for all beauty shoppers starts today, so I thought I would highlight 10 musst-have products I am loving. Be sure to leave a comment with any items you love as well or ones I should check out the next time I go.

[Also, can I say, I don’t know how these pre-teen/teen girls are affording to shop at Sephora. I finally, at 41 years old, feel like I can afford to purchase some of my skin care and makeup products from Sephora, but it took me a long while to get to this point!]
  1. Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser
I love a good cleanser that lathers well, washes everything clean, and makes my face feel refreshed. The Summer Fridays Gel Cleanser does just that, and it is one of the clean products at Sephora. (I love how easy it is to tell if the product has a clean list of ingredients or not with a simple green circle and check mark on the website.)

2. Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner
I swear when I was using the Olaplex Shampoo as well as the conditioner, I got more compliments on my hair. I’ve branched away the last few months, but I need to go back to it. So many people swear by these products, and I’m a big fan as well.

3. Laneige Lip Mask
So thick and moisturizing, this Lip Mask is what it says it is. I use it every night before bed, and I can’t not go to bed without it. It has a subtle berry scent that also makes it smell good.

4. Living Proof Dry Shampoo
I am super picky with my dry shampoo. A lot of them don’t feel like they do anything to my fine, oily hair, but Living Proof’s Perfect hair Day (PhD) dry shampoo is SO good. It actually absorbs oil and gives my hair a little volume as well. If I know I don’t want to wash my hair after a run, I will spray the dry shampoo in my hair before I go for a run as it seems to absorb oil better before the oil is on my scalp. I also like the their Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo, and while I can tell they are slightly different, I can’t decide which one I like more.

5. Living Proof Dry Texturizer
To go along with the dry shampoo, I just picked up the Living Proof Full Volume and Texture Spray after asking a sales associate at the store for dry texturizer. She recommended this one from Living Proof, and she definitely made a good recommendation! This texture spray gives my hair just the right amount of texture without it being sticky but still give it that ‘piece-y’ look I like.

6. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I feel like I’ve tried almost every mascara out there. I’ve been recommended so many different mascaras over the years that always let me down, but this Better Than Sex Maracara is absolutely amazing. The volume and length I get from this is unmatched to any other mascara I’ve tried. I do use the waterproof version because otherwise after I curl my eyelashes with my eyelash curler, they always go back to being straight unless I use a waterproof mascara. The only drawback for the waterproof version is that it is hard to get off at the end of the day–it takes a couple different washings to get it all off. Otherwise, I will also link the regular version if you don’t like the waterproof option.

7. dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream
When I initially got this dae Styling Cream, I was kind of indifferent with how much I liked it. I felt like I could achieve the same style (a slicked back ponytail) with hairspray. Well, I have continued to use the styling cream and love it the more I use it. I still might be able to use hairspray on it’s own, but I do like that the styling cream isn’t as crunchy as hairspray, and it smells incredible. I have also heard really good things about dae’s Dry Shampoo, so I want to try that!

8. Touchland Hand Sanitizer
I saw everyone on my Instagram feed using the Touchland Hand Sanitizer, and I didn’t get the hype until I tried it. First off, it smells absolutely amazing, and it makes your hands so soft. Almost every hand sanitizer I use leaves my hands feeling grimy, but this one does not do that. I keep it in the car, and they boys are always using it as well.

9. Drunk Elephant A-Passioni™ Retinol Cream
I like this A-Passioni Retinol Cream product for minimizing wrinkles and evening skin tone. It is another clean product at Sephora, which I appreciate. I use it after cleansing and before my serums and like to pair it with the Drunk Elephant B-Hydration Intensive Serum for extra hydration.

10. Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator
I had been seeing other influencers use the Saie Glowy Super Gel Illuminator in their makeup routines, so I had to give it a try myself. I use a use a small amount mixed in with my tinted moisturizer, and I love the subtle hint of glow it gives your skin. I use brush to blend it all together for a flawless application.

BONUS: You get one bonus item that I can’t believe I forgot to mention: Ouai’s Detox Shampoo. This makes your hair so soft and feel so clean. I use it once a week, and I look forward to Sundays when I can use it!

So many good products and still so many I want to try. Comment below if there is something you love from Sephora that I should try. Almost all of my makeup products are from either Beautycounter or Tarte, and soon I will have to compile a list of all the products I use in my makeup routine.

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.
