
Hi, I’m Michelle!
I have been coaching individual athletes virtually and in-person groups for almost 20 years. I have a minor in coaching, am an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Level I certified coach, as well as a V.O2 certified coach. I currently offer three types of coaching to runners of all abilities who are looking to improve their PR (personal record), run their first race, or wish to take their training and fitness to the next level.
I have spent the past 30 years running and developing my knowledge and expertise in training methodology. I have helped hundreds of runners over the years, and I would love to help you as well. I ran in high school, college, and now enjoying running anything from the mile to the marathon. Through my own coaching, I was able to cut 45 minutes off my marathon time.
I recently hired another coach, Taylor, to help with the influx of people who want to receive 1-on-1 coaching services. You can read more about her in her coaching bio and below. I am so happy to have her on board and help more runners achieve their goals.
There are 3 types of coaching services:
1. Training Plans
I have developed my own training plans for those who want guidance on workouts but don’t need someone checking in with them on a regular basis. I have 8 training plans I have written:
- Run/Walk – Return to Running Plan – $32: This plan starts gradually with run/walks for those who are wanting to get back into running after an extended break.
- 5K Training Plan – $36: Get ready for a lot of speed sessions to prepare those fast-twitch muscles for the 5K. This plan is 8 weeks and starts at 15 miles a week, progressing to 25 miles per week.
- 10K Training Plan – $45: Performing well in the 10K requires speed and some endurance, and this plan has a mix of both. This plan is 10 weeks long and the perfect build to your next 10K.
- Base Building Plan – $49: Not race-specific, but this plan will provide guidance and fun workouts for that time in between training cycles.
- Half Marathon – Level 1 Training Plan – $59: A solid 12-week plan that gets you ready to run a fast half marathon. The plans starts at 15 miles per week and works up to 30 miles per week with 4-5 runs per week.
- Half Marathon – Level 2 Training Plan – $59: Some additional volume and bulkier mid-week workouts makes this plan perfect for the higher volume runner. The plan starts around 30 weekly miles and peaks at 45 miles, with 5-6 runs per week.
- Marathon – Level 1 Training Plan – $72: Gradually build your mileage for your next marathon with a steady progression and marathon-specific work to help you feel strong and confident on the starting line.
- Marathon – Level 2 Training Plan – $72: If you like more volume to your marathon plan, use my level 2 plan that starts at 30 miles per week and works up to 50 miles a week during peak week.

2. One-On-One Personalized Training
One-on-one coaching services are for the runner who wants a very personalized plan and wants close communication with their coach to help them stay accountable, bounce ideas off of, and go after big goals.
These personalized, one-on-one coaching training plans include speed workouts, tempo runs, and track workouts–all dependent upon where you are at in your training and what your goals are. The workouts will be designed to fit your ability level and running goals. No two runners are the same, so no two plans are ever the same.
Coaching plans will be sent virtually each week through the platform V.O2. The app is very user-friendly, syncs workouts to most watches, you can communicate with your coach through the app, and your run analytics import to the app after the run is completed. Coaches are available by e-mail, text, phone calls, Zoom/Facetime, with prompt responses within 24 hours. We love getting to know athletes, and our level of interaction and accountability is a high priority to us.
As we work with each athlete, their feedback on how each run/workout went will determine future workouts. We want each person to enjoy the workouts and not feel as though they are outside their capability, and we are happy to structure workouts around your work life, family time, or other scheduled things that may come up.
Rate is $195/month. (no minimum commitment)

3. Virtual consultation
This is a chance for you to ask any/all of your running-related questions. A gait analysis can do done during this time, as well as taking a look at your training log and making suggestions as to where you could improve. General recommendations regarding fueling on a long run, weight lifting, nutrition, and/or proper warm-ups are just a few examples of common questions asked. Everyone who has done a call in the past has left with valuable information that they can then use to improve their own running.
Hourly rate is $85.
