Welcome, Bjorn!

Today we welcomed Bjorn Gebhard Baxter into our family!

He was born 3 weeks early on Friday, September 27, at 7:27a.m. via VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) weighing 7lbs 2oz and 20-1/4 inches long.

It was quite the whirlwind of a couple days as we were not expecting such an early arrival, but all is well and good, and mom and baby are doing very well!

A full recap of Bjorn’s birth story will come soon! Plus, I will be sharing the entire story as to how I was able to pull off a VBAC after many closed doors by the hospital, doctors, and my insurance.

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.
