This morning, Meet Virginia‘s blog post was five things she enjoyed this week. She is encouraging her readers to do the same, so I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon!
Here are 5 things I am loving or am excited about!
1. Running with the sunrise.
It was a perfect run this morning. I started out just as it was getting light and finished up an hour later (7 miles) just as the sun was truly rising. Loved it!
2. Great Harvest Sandwiches.
I rarely go out for lunch because where are you going to find “healthy” fast food. Subway? No thank you; I am not a fan. A McDonald’s salad? Um, I would feel guilty just walking in there even if it was to buy a salad.
So on the rare occasion the pickings at home are too slim for packing a lunch, to Great Harvest it is!
A veggie sandwich: real food + homemade + delicious = a winner!
Plus, who could forget the free samples? Apricot almond bread.
3. Something I am pinning:
I can’t say I am obsessed with Pinterest, but I have enjoyed going on when I get a chance and looking at all the beautiful pictures. . . . dreaming about my future house. . . . drooling over delicious-looking food. . . . and planning what to buy for my wardrobe.
I am obsessed about this outfit!
4. What I am listening to:
Christian music. . . . . I am an eclectic music listener: country, pop, easy-listening, etc., but this week I’ve been listening to a lot more Christian music. It relaxes me and refocuses my thoughts on God.
5. Something I am excited about:
Craig and I are taking a road trip this weekend. Hopefully I survive!
i love pinterest! that’s such a fun outfit š

Oh my gosh–that apricot almond bread looks awesome!
I’ve been listening to a lot more Christian music the past few weeks, too. I used to hate Christian music because a lot of it is cheesy, but I’m starting to appreciate it more now. š
I wasn’t blown away by the apricot almond bread. I would eat it for free but wouldn’t pay for it.
I agree there are some cheesy Christian songs out there.

What do you know, I am the same way with the music I like. That is why I never know what to say when people ask me what is my favorite kind of music.
Who would have guessed that?!? š
