Michelle Baxter – Owner of PR (Personalized Running) Coaching

Hi, I’m Michelle Baxter. I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and running competitively in anything from the mile to the marathon. I have been a run coach since 2005 and could not imagine doing anything else. I’m known as @therunnersplate on Instagram and love connecting with others and motivating followers to chase their big, dream running goals. It was my big goal to run a sub-3 hour marathon, and after working very hard for 8 years, having two kids, and enduring some bumps along the road, I ran a 2:58 at CIM (California International Marathon) in 2021.
I love working with all types of runners–no matter your pace or experience. I am here to challenge you, lift you up, and answer all of your running-related questions. One of my specialties is postpartum women. After having two kids myself, I know what it takes to get back to running at a competitive level but also be respectful of the changes to your body and lifestyle postpartum.
I want to be your biggest cheerleader and help you achieve your running goals, so email me at prcoaching.michelle@gmail.com to be placed on my wait list in order to work with me.
Taylor Schiffler – Coach

Hi, I’m Taylor! My path to running came a little later than others, discovering distance running in grad school to de-stress while earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. What began as a goal to complete a half marathon transpired to finishing a full marathon as my passion for training continued to grow. By my third marathon I coached myself to my first Boston Qualifier, earning a spot to run the Boston Marathon in 2023 and kickstarting my love to help others to reach their goals as well.
In early 2024, I set bigger goals and wanted a greater challenge, so I began working with Michelle as my coach. I knew her coaching philosophy aligned with my own, but she consistently pushed me beyond the paces I thought I was capable of, helping me unlock new levels of performance. Working with Michelle opened my eyes to the value of having a coach in your corner—someone who challenges your comfort zone, celebrates your personal bests, and helps you navigate setbacks along the way. As an affiliate coach, I’ve been fortunate to continue learning through her mentorship, which continues to shape my development as both an athlete and coach.
As a DPT specializing in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, I’ve focused on helping runners return from injury stronger than ever to return to training safely after setbacks. Since becoming a UESCA-certified running coach, I’ve been able to combine my physical therapy background and coaching expertise to support athletes of all levels. Whether you’re training for your first 5k or marathon, chasing a PR, working towards a BQ, or beginning/returning to consistent running after time off, I’m excited to be part of that journey with you!
I am currently accepting new athletes, so email me at: schiffler.taylor@gmail.com to start working with her or schedule a discovery call.
