My First Trip to Minnesota

Hey everyone!

This is Cullen. Mommy requested I write a post about visiting Minnesota and our time with Greatgrandpa, so I agreed.

This is me hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa’s on the John Deere pillow.

Grandpa even took me on my first tractor ride.

Mommy and I spent a week in Minnesota visiting family and enjoying our time together. It was really cold and windy most days, but we still had a good time.

Our main reason to go to Minnesota was so I could meet my great-grandpa. We went to visit him nearly every day, and he lit up every time I came to visit him. He smiled at me and talked to me a lot.

I also spent a lot of time playing with Grandma. We played peek-a-boo, “so big,” itsy bitsy spider, and practiced tummy time. Look how strong I am getting! I still like to drool a lot though.

Mommy went running almost every day. (I thought she was crazy.) She ran 30 miles last week and said her c-section incision didn’t bother her at all.

One day the temperature was 12*F with winds gusting to over 30 mph, which made it feel like -6*F. Mommy said it wasn’t that bad.

Mommy didn’t take a lot of pictures as we were too busy having fun, so that’s about all I have to share.

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

Awwww, you were in Minnesota and we missed you. Although it looks as though it may have been when I was gone. Glad you got to come home and see family!!!!
