Sharing the Chobani Love

As with every morning, this morning started out with a run.

Distance: 4 miles

Time: 33:40

Pace: 8:25 minutes/mile

Comments: Good run. No hamstring pain, but I’m not holding my breath.

I easily get tired of eating the same things over and over again, but this breakfast is my breakfast of choice nearly every morning this days.

A toasted English muffin with peanut butter along with a Protein Spinach Smoothie (a.k.a. Green Monster).

It looks like fall out there; we need some rain!

Craig picked up a new kind of peanut butter at the grocery store for me this past weekend. I wasn’t that impressed. There wasn’t enough of a roasted peanut butter flavor to it. Obviously it still tastes good but there are other brands I like more. DSC_0004

Seriously, the people at Chobani are so willing to send out their product to bloggers and share their product.

This must have been the third shipment from Chobani I’ve received, and I know it is not cheap overnighting a 20 pound box of fresh yogurt and several ice packs to Alaska!

I do have to admit though, there was a point in time where I was growing tired of Chobani. After buying several 12-pack boxes of it at Costco, the “original” blueberry, peach, strawberry flavors got old quickly.

But what I love about Chobani products, is that they keep reinventing the wheel.

Check out these new Flip products.

There are so many different flavors!

I’ve tried a couple of the flavors so far. The Almond Coco Loco was definitely a winner and could substitute for dessert. (A healthy dessert alternative, that is.)

They also sent me the new 100 calorie Bite Greek yogurt cups.

The Fig with Orange Zest (far left) was one of my favorites. DSC_0005

Our Apple laptop computer is, I swear, on its 9th life. In the 6.5 years of its life, the keyboard, thermostat, CD/DVD player, graphics card, and battery have all been replaced. Plus the ram has been upgraded, and the battery died one too many times so now it needs to be plugged in all the time otherwise it will die after just a couple of minutes. And over the weekend I thought for sure it was completely dead when the battery pack would not holding a charge because some of the wires are exposed and damaged. DSC_0002

But I was bound and determined to get its full 9th life out of it. So now in order for the wires to keep a charge, I had to shove the batter pack in the couch cushions. Works just like new now!DSC_0003

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

I love the Chobani Bites but haven’t seen the Flips yet in stores, they look great too! We (me and my 16 month old) do a smoothie for breakfast every day – with berries, spinach, nut butter, coconut milk, oats and probiotics for him. Not sure what my dream job would be, it’s hard to think of doing anything other than being with my son right now…and I have a great part-time writing job on the side so it’s the best of both worlds.
