Super Busy

It has been a super busy week for me, and I’m so glad it is (almost) over!

Here’s a pretty picture of the mountains and the snow for those of you who enjoy these pictures. You can live vicariously through me if snow is your thing. 😉

Aye, aye, aye!

I was dragging by the end of the week! Seven hours of sleep is definitely not enough for me. Usually I am in bed by 8:30 or 9 p.m. and sleeping within a half an hour.

In order for things to go better next week, these are my goals:

– Be home by 6:00 p.m. each night (critical!)

– Do all cleaning and laundry on Sunday.

– Prepare two meals on Sunday.

– Be in bed by 9 p.m. (also critical!)

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

oh man, you have been busy! i totally agree about the “being home by 6pm” part. even if you can do a bunch of things ahead of time, getting home really late really messes with productivity and getting ready for the next day. that’s why i despise night classes. 🙂 hope your class today goes by quickly!

It doesn’t seem like it should matter that much, but it does! There are so many little things to do each night to stay on top of everything!

I probably missed this in another blog post, but what class are you taking?

I am taking two classes in order to renew my Alaska teaching license. The classes themselves were fine; I am just having a hard time fitting them (and the homework) into my already busy schedule.

It’s beautiful to see my hometown covered in snow! I know how tough the winter’s can be….hang in there! So what exactly is Manna bread? Is it a sprouted wheat like Ezekiel?

Manna Bread is sprouted bread but also yeast free, so it doesn’t rise like other breads. It is very dense and very moist.

Snow is not my thing- but it sure looks beautiful!
And man, your schedule is so super busy! I really hope that you spent today (Sunday) doing a whole lotta nothin’!

I agree snow can look pretty, but it isn’t my thing either.

Unfortunately I did a whole lot of catching up on Sunday, but thankful I got everything done, so I can survive this week.

I hear you, Michelle! This is the way my life goes…for now. I may be setting myself up for disappointment, but I dream that having kids someday will free me from the schedule you described (my is nearly identical to yours, minus the extreme lack of sunlight). And, being a fellow Tidy-Type…when do I clean? I imagine Craig, like Peter, hasn’t changed much in the “cleanliness” department since college. Therefore areas that need cleaning are not identified unless I point them out, and then Peter will help. But, to be fair, I’m sure our husbands appreciate a clean and tidy house.

Are you planning (hoping) to stay home with your kids? Is that how you figure it would free you from this schedule?

I am majorly the tidy-type. (I learned this weekend it is a German thing. I didn’t know this.) I am always straightening up around the house. I don’t know how I’m going to keep up with it once we have kids!!

Wow you are so busy!! Are your weeks always like that? I also can’t believe how much snow is up there. It is on its way here I am sure! Hope this week is better for you!

My weeks aren’t usually quite this bad, but I almost always busy with something! It is in my genes!

We have so much snow already. . . probably close to 1.5 feet!! It has been snowing every day for a week+ straight!!

Oh my gosh!!! No snow here yet… I love snow but I’m not really looking forward to the commute to work in it! I will just have to plan on a few snow days! 🙂

My weeks always seem jammed packed and I am lucky if I can get to bed by 9:30pm some nights. Once Friday hits I always feel like I am just dragging. Hopefully the extra zzz’s will help 🙂

That’s crazy busy! Lately I’ve been getting into the habit of cooking multiple meals on Sunday and it makes a huge difference.
