Why am I so addicted to these crackers?

They are seriously half cracker, half cookie because they melt in my mouth! I can never buy them again!

How does a kale Green Monster compare to a spinach Green Monster?

No comparison! I ended up throwing out half of this ‘kale’ Green Monster. I couldn’t handle the small chunks of kale; it was disgusting! Maybe a Vitamix would puree it more?

How many substitutions can one make in a recipe?

Cauliflower Crust Pizza

1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 3/4 cup vegan cheddar cheese

1 egg, beaten vegan egg: 1 Tablespoon flax + 3 Tablespoons water

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp crushed garlic 1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 tsp garlic salt

Result: too many substitutions!

But I’m not sure this would have been a hit anyway. It really didn’t taste like pizza.

Running this morning went okay. I really just have not been feeling it this week. Good thing it was a cut-back week anyway.

    1. I love Z bars, but white chocolate chip brownie?! That sounds fantastic…I know what I’m going to be hunting for this weekend. πŸ™‚ My workout today was an upper body workout – Arms/Shoulders/Abs/Cardio.

    1. i probably won’t workout today…still recovering from my marathon! but tomorrow i’m planning on running. πŸ™‚

    1. My workout (since I missed them all this week) is to run on the treadmill and then do a solid, sweatfest in the weights area. πŸ™‚ I don’t think I’d enjoy a kale smoothie either, chunky stuff weirds me out!

    1. I did a trail run with my dogs this morning…and I thought low forties was getting chilly! You just gave me a reality check.

    1. Yoga, sweet yoga. Always the best on a friday afternoon! Yay! And…agreed on the kale monster. blech!

    1. I can’t believe it’s already below freezing there!!! Fall is our warmest time of year–it was 75 today, at least. The mornings are starting to get much colder though.
