Happy Birthday, Sister!

I know I have not been as consistent with posting, but frankly I haven’t had much to post about: no new recipes, no big announcements, no exciting adventures (although Yogurtland was a blast!), etc.

Admittedly I have been quite bad about cooking lately. Right now I am just riding the wave until the end of school—2 more days!! Then I will be much more on top of my cooking/baking and blogging!

~~~~~~
I do want to give a big shout-out to my sister whose birthday is today.
Happy Birthday, Kristy!
She is my clone, inspiration, motivator, sounding board, and my cold weather running buddy!
We have a lot of fun together, and I miss her so much and wish we lived closer together!
Sadly, we will be even further apart next year because she will be completing her dietetics internship in Raleigh, North Carolina. I guess I’ll just have to go and visit!! πŸ™‚
A recap on my recent runs. . . .
Monday’s Run
Distance: 6 miles
Time: 51 minutes
It wasn’t a spectacular run, but I knew I didn’t have to push myself since it is a cut-back week for me, so I took it pretty easy.
Tuesday’s Run
Distance: 5 miles
Time: 43 minutes
This was kind of a tough run. I am very thankful it is a cut-back week because I am sure feeling it. My muscles wereΒ  little more tender because I had a massage last night, and she really worked on all my tight areas. It felt good though!
Hi, I'm Michelle
I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.
    Happy Birthday to your sis!!!! I am just like you, if I don’t have anything to post about I just assume not post. I don’t think anyone wants to read about how I woke up, went to work, came home and passed out lol
    I’ve been in a blogging funk for a while. It happens! Good luck winding down the school year!
    My runs have been kind of “meh” recently too, and I’m also in a step-down week. I don’t understand how 18 or 20 miles can feel like no problem to me one week and then 6 miles feels loooong the next!
    Happy B-day to your sis!! I bet your kids at school are getting anxious, I still have a week to go and the days seem to be getting longer and my patience shorter.
    Hi there – like the mention in your post & comments written above, I often feel like I have nothing to blog about either! Have you thought about doing one of those 101 in 1001 challenges? From the looks of it, it looks like it would be interested content!
    Hope all is well.
