Yogurtland. . .Here I Come

Guess what came to Anchorage. . . . Yogurtland!!

I can’t believe it! I have been reading about the awesomeness of frozen yogurt for the past year on everyone’s blog who lives in the Lower 48.

Now I get to partake in this experience. . . . . .at the local airport!

Yes, of all places, we had to venture to the airport for this outing.

(And a big THANKS to Victoria for writing about Yogurtland here in Anchorage—otherwise I would have had no idea!)

So, here’s the deal, since we had to go to the airport for fro-yo, we had to pay for parking. . . . but if we could make it in and out under 30 minutes, we could park for free, so we made a mad dash for it.

Yogurtland. . . .here I come!!

So happy that I’m about to partake in this fine dining experience!

Lots of choices!

Way better than my first frozen yogurt experience was in California back in December.

We will definitely be back again. . . SOON! 🙂

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

Good thing it wasn’t past security! The surely you would have had to pay for parking! 😉

Oh yeah, I forgot to say we didn’t have to go through security–obviously.

That looks so good! We just got something like that here in downtown Rochester… not sure what it was called (I don’t think it was yogurtland) but the same idea. So delicious (and dangerous since it is a 5 minute walk from where I work!). Good luck with your last few days of school!!! 🙂

Hehe twinnies, we both ran about the same amount of miles this week. 🙂

We don’t have froyo places near me at all. I’m always so jealous of peoples fun on blogs going to them. I cannot wait to actually get to go more than once a year ha.

I am so jealous. Vermont is still behind the rest of the country and has no froyo places. So every time I visit my family in Atlanta I have to get my fix. On one of my recent visits, I actually had frozen yogurt every day. By the end of the trip I felt a little OD’ed and sugared out. I still hold out hopes that a self-serve place will turn up in Montpelier some day!

And awesome 20 miler last weekend! Congrats!

But, Megan, Vermont has creamies, and while I like fro-yo, I LOVE creamies!

This is very true. Maple creemies are the best!

Usually Alaska is at least 3 years behind everyone else, so I was astonished when I found out we got a Yogurtland!

      Thanks!

Fargo just got Tuti Fruiti, a frozen yogurt place that looks very similar to Yogurtland, and I went there just before I left for home! It was super good and constantly busy the whole time I was in there.

They are opening a Yogurtland at this mall I go to. It’s the second one in the same mall too. Second yogurt place that is. Hahah. I love it.

What a fun adventure for froyo! We have a yagut, which is similar but doesn’t have nearly the flavor/topping options!
