Camera Fun

Craig took the camera tonight, so I resorted to the camera on my computer to capture some very important things in life: moi and food! šŸ™‚

This was actually the first time I have used Photo Booth, so I had a little fun at first.

Not really sure what’s going on here?!?!

My dinner tonight!

I had to have a piece of my homemade bread in some form tonight!! Seriously, that stuff is so addicting!!

turkey sandwich + veggies

I’m loving these stir-fry veggies from Costco. I start with a little olive oil heated in a non-stick pan, saute the veggies, dash them with soy sauce, and devour!

Veggies and healthy food make me happy! šŸ™‚

Craig took the day off today, so we went to a Bikram yoga class at Anchorage Yoga this morning! šŸ™‚

At first I wasn’t really into Bikram, but I think that was due to the instructor. I had a much more enjoyable experience today and know I will be going back! This was Craig’s first Bikram experience, and he loved it as well!

It was challenging, it was HOT, but it felt oh, so good!

That heat felt especially good after my run this morning in a chilly 8 degrees!!

I felt okay during my run, but my hands turned bright red again, which made the run not-so-enjoyable. I stilled managed to get 5 miles in, but I think I’ll be heading to the gym tomorrow instead.

Question

What are your plans for the weekend?

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

Bummer, I do see a lot of people with towels over their mats. Did you have one of those?

Yes, I would not advise anyone to visit Alaska in the summer unless you want to go skiing. However, our highs are only about 65 in the summer, so don’t bring a lot of summer clothes.

8 degrees is approaching my lower limit. The worst part is the hands, always!

I need to try Bikram. The hardest part is motivating myself to go to a class. I have no problem stepping out the door for a run, but classes seem like a hassle to me!
