Long-sleeve Running Shirts

I was starving when I got home from work, so a quick dinner was in order. I pulled this piece of veggie-tuna macaroni and cheese concoction out of the freezer that Craig made a while back.

My husband is a good cook! 🙂 Even though it was frozen, it was mighty delicious. Topped with tomatoes and a side of carrots for some extra veggies.

For dessert: an oatmeal raisin cookie. I love how chewy oatmeal raisin cookies are. 🙂

Since the weather is turning chilly, it is time to review my long-sleeve running shirts.

Asics

This is one of my favorite shirts! The sleeves and the length of the body are nice and long. The fit is loose (but not too loose), and the material breathes really well.

Nike

This shirt is slightly more fitted which is why I got a medium in this style (usually I buy smalls). The material is really soft, and the sleeves are nice and long.

Under Armour

This shirt is comfy but runs a little small. (I had to get a medium in this as well.) The length of the sleeves is great but the torso length is a little on the short side. While the thumb-holes are fun, I don’t find myself using them.

Nike

This is a great long-sleeve shirt for cooler–even cold–weather with its soft, fleece lining inside. The end of the sleeves have an extra flap of material that allows me to pull my hands into the sleeve and close off the end with the extra material to keep the wind out. (I hope that makes sense.)

Nike

This Nike long sleeve shirt is like an Under Armour shirt with its extra thickness for cold weather running. I love the thumb holes in this shirt, and I do use them! I actually like this top better than the Under Armour tops because of the extra material around my neck. It comes up higher and keeps my neck warmer.

Nike

This Nike Pro shirt has the longest length in the torso of all of these shirts.  I love the fit, material, and feel of this shirt and find myself wearing it often!

Today has gone all too quickly, and it is once again time for me to go to bed. Why do I never feel like there is enough time in the day?

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

I LOVE my cool-weather Nike gear. I may have to check out the Asics shirt. And a chewy oatmeal raisin cookie. Seems like a winning combination…
