Summer -> Fall

The signs of summer are quickly transitioning into fall foliage and pumpkin-inspired things. But I am doing my best to still hang on to every last ounce of summer!

Summer produce that I will miss during the winter months.

Yet, there are still signs of fall popping up my life:

A new autumn-inspired mug from Starbucks.

Pumpkin-flavored beverages: a tall nonfat awake tea latte with 1.5 pumps of pumpkin spice flavoring. Awesome! (I got the idea from Meghann.) I highly recommend it, although I would do 2 full pumps of the pumpkin spice next time.)

Chocolate Pumpkin Overnight Oats for today’s breakfast. I have a staff meeting before school, so I have to be out the door 45 minutes earlier than normal!

And Pumpkin Muffins

Question

What is your favorite season?

Give me anything but winter! (That is, winters with snow because that’s all I’ve known. I didn’t intentionally mean to rhyme. :P)

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.

    I love summer because I can get a little tan, don’t need to bring a coat and feel comfortable just walking outside almost any time of day.

    I dread winter. I love fall but what I hate about it is that it means winter is coming 🙁 My favorite season though is spring. It’s always such a good feeling after being cooped up all winter to step out into the sunshine and seeing things blooming (cue cheesy music here) and I love it 🙂

      That’s exactly how I feel!! I love fall but do not like what comes after! If I had to pick just one season, it would be spring for all of the good weather ahead!!
